A Whitehorse love letter

ALL! THIS! SUNSHINE! Seriously, I don’t think I’ve slept since I arrived. It is positively glorious here. And I’ve had the privilege of working with some amazing Grade 10 students through the DreamCatcher Mentoring program, writing love letters about what they love about where they live. And man alive, it’s been inspiring.

Through their letters, I’m learning about what it is to be a teenager in the north, in all sunlight, and all darkness. Each of these letters change and shape  how I see this sunlight community, and hopefully, remind these Grade 10 students about what they love about where they live.
