Liverpool’s seaside merry-go-round

I had no idea what to expect when my train pulled into Lime St. Station, but I think I may have fallen in love with Liverpool.

The sun shone the whole time I was there (which always helps solar-powered me!) and there was bunting everywhere and a sea to picnic beside and a ferris wheel AND merry-go-round and an accent I could barely understand.

…and the best coffee I’ve had since arriving in the UK. (And the newly formed tradition of cider & crisps at happy hour didn’t hurt either!)

…and I received the warmest welcome at the Mersey Maritime Museum where I set up my love lettering wares.

Oh, and there was a pink ice cream truck named Mr. Whippy (that of COURSE got a love letter!)

Onwards to Nottingham!
