I spent today in the sunshine, just north of where I live, in one of Toronto’s best neighbourhoods – The Junction – love lettering with heaps of delightful folk. The Junction Flea Market is the new co-venture by the folks at  SMASH and Russet&Empire. Paul and Micah are wonderful.

Fact: I couldn’t do any of these events without the be-aproned love of a contingent of love lettering volunteers – Mairead, Ramsey, Shayne and Mom – extra thanks for today’s help!!

There is not much that warms my heart quite like seeing heaps of people making little pieces of city-love art…

There were so epically delish popsicles (made even more delish with the crazy unrelenting sunshine!) and lovely in-person meet ups with crafty folks from The Arthur Co., snap+tumble press and Casey Von Esteban.

And the day was made even sweeter with a letterpress-your-own postcard stand with snap+tumble!)

Glory be, this city is just full to the gills with love and inspiring folks!!
