Fundraising milestones and Kilter Theatre’s theatrical letter-writing tour

Holy smokes! I’m thrilled to bits! A week and a few days into The Love Lettering Project’s Indiegogo fundraising campaign and we’ve tipped over the $1000 mark! So thrilling!!

And I’m thrilled to announce a a collaboration that will be happening in Bristol for Big Green Week! I’m going to be partnering with Kilter Theatre on June 23rd with their theatrical letter-writing tour “The Last Post” that takes place in a Mobile Sorting Office Van.

Kilter Theatre’s Mobile Sorting Office – the legendary home and head-quarters of the Great Aunt Sorority who takes care of letters and packages that cannot easily be delivered.

The Last Post is a brand new first class delivery devised & performed by Kilter.

A curious love story between a redundant Post-Master & the irrepressible heiress of an international pen-palling agency, The Last Post is accompanied by “harmony-drenched, melancholy-tinged” live music and a series of extra additional activities inside Mobile Sorting Office 451.

Mobile Sorting Office 451 is a bright red Luton van crammed with retro-chic details from a much-travelled life, a thousand items of real mail and seating for up to 17 letter-writers and theatre-goers. There is also a sherry decanter and a ping-pong set.

Doesn’t that sound amazing?! I can’t wait!!

The details for other incredible collaborations and hosts are nearly sorted out! More soon!

In the mean time, if you’d like to donate to the campaign, or share the project with your favourite folks, please do! Every little bit helps!
